01 About bcart
bcart ("we", "us", "bcart") is an online grocery, food and FMCG ordering and delivery service operating exclusively within Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. We list products for sale and arrange their delivery to addresses that fall within our serviceable delivery area.
02 Delivery area
bcart currently delivers only within Bareilly. Orders placed to an address outside our serviceable area may be automatically declined, or may be cancelled with a full refund if this is discovered after payment. We may expand or reduce the serviceable area at any time without prior notice.
03 Account registration
- You need a valid mobile number to create a bcart account and place orders.
- You're responsible for keeping your account and OTP/login details confidential, and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate name, address and contact details so your order can be delivered correctly.
04 Orders and pricing
- Product prices, images and availability shown in the app are indicative and may change without prior notice.
- An order is confirmed only after successful payment or, for cash-on-delivery orders, after we accept it.
- Delivery charges, handling fees, packaging charges, or small-order/surge charges, if any, will be shown clearly before you pay.
- We may cancel an order if an item is out of stock, if the delivery address is outside our area, or in case of a pricing error, and will refund any amount already paid.
- Quantities and weights for loose items such as fruits, vegetables and grains may vary slightly from what is ordered, within reasonable limits.
05 Payments
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, and cash on delivery, depending on availability. Online payments are processed through our payment gateway partners; bcart does not store your card or UPI credentials.
06 Delivery
- Estimated delivery times shown in the app are indicative and can vary due to traffic, weather, order volume, or item availability.
- Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address during the estimated delivery window; repeated failed deliveries may result in order cancellation.
- Delivery partners may verify the order OTP or your name before handing over the order, for your safety.
07 Food safety and FSSAI compliance
bcart operates under FSSAI Licence No. 22726568000192. We take reasonable care to source food, grocery and FMCG products from licensed suppliers and to maintain hygiene during packing and delivery. Perishable items should be checked at the time of delivery and refrigerated or consumed appropriately.
08 Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation windows and refund handling are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
09 User conduct
- You agree not to misuse the platform — including placing fraudulent orders, abusing delivery partners or support staff, or attempting to interfere with the app's normal working.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive or fraudulent activity.
10 Limitation of liability
bcart is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, or local disruptions. Our liability for any confirmed order is limited to the value of that order.
11 Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Effective from" date at the top reflects the latest version. Continuing to use bcart after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.
